The only glaze on this wood-fired bowl is in the curved interior. Everything else was “painted” by the fire, which tends to make porcelain blush. 8.5” x 3.25”. Please note that this bowl acquired two “happenings” in the 7-day wood fire. One, a tiny bit of kiln grit made a home in the ash that glazed the rim. Two, this bowl “kissed” its neighbor in the kiln, leaving it with a touch of friendship on the bottom of the rim. (Closeups in photos.) These are part of the beauty of this bowl.
