The soda kiln toasted this small porcelain covered jar (4.5” x 3.5” x 3/5”) a gleaming golden blond-brown. Look for the wadding marks on the underside where it was raised off the kiln shelf. Inside it is copper red. It has a thick lid which formed a shallow line in the firing, like a superficial fissure. One of a kind.
