This platter was made on the wheel, then stretched by pulling. Its waving rim undulates quite a bit, dipping to .75" and rising to 1.5"; the platter is 14.5" long x 12" wide . Melting and movement of the glaze in the kiln is apparent in many mottled, glossy tones of green, blue, brown and black. The underside is etched with long, waving stems of grass. A one of a kind winner, it coordinates with other Serene Green, Jade Green and Green of Evening pieces in my collection.
