It went through the wood/soda kiln, and then the electric kiln for additional glaze melt. The top half is glazed in blue-gray. In the wood/soda kiln, wood ash blew against one side of it, creating a gray-green glassy surface that also ran under the pot. The kiss of volatilizing soda ash gave the pale, rough clay a warm orange-brown color. I have smoothed the foot and one glaze bubble by careful grinding. Altogether, this little vessel is a visual and tactile joy.
